Description
VASM7 – 3.5 mL Sealable Absorption Cuvette (Molded, 10 mm Lightpath, 2 Windows)
The VASM7 is a molded quartz absorption cuvette with a 10 mm optical path length and 3.5 mL sample volume, equipped with a screw cap and septa seal. It is specially designed for anaerobic and oxygen-sensitive measurements, offering excellent sealing performance for experiments that require minimal evaporation or atmospheric exposure. The Molded Fabrication ensures the highest optical precision and superior chemical durability.
Key Features
- 10 mm optical path length: standard size compatible with most UV/VIS spectrophotometers.
- Screw cap & septa: provides excellent sealing, suitable for anaerobic and oxygen-sensitive experiments.
- Optional center-hole cap: available for sterile injections or sample addition without opening the cuvette.
- 2 optical windows: ideal for accurate absorbance measurements.
- Molded fabrication: highest quality quartz, tight optical tolerance, excellent chemical durability.
- Wavelength range: 190–2500 nm (UV/VIS).
- Thermal resistance: -60 °C (−76 °F) to 1200 °C (2192 °F).
- Chemical compatibility: resistant to acids, bases, and strong organic solvents; tested with HCl, ethanol, carbon tetrachloride, and benzene for 24 hours without leakage.
- Pathlength tolerance: ±0.01 mm — the highest precision for molded fabrication.
- Secure packaging: foam and bubble wrap; drop-tested from 1 meter before shipment.
