Description
VALB350 Absorption Cuvette is a precision-molded quartz cuvette designed for short-path absorbance measurements, offering a 1 mm optical path length and a 350 μL internal volume. Its wide clear wall design (20 × 26 mm) and two optical windows provide superior light transmission and stable measurement performance across the UV/VIS range (190–2500 nm).
Equipped with a PTFE stopper, this cuvette ensures airtight sealing, making it suitable for applications requiring protection from evaporation, contamination, or oxidation. The low sample volume and short path length make it ideal for high-concentration or precious samples where signal saturation needs to be controlled.
Typical Applications
- UV/VIS absorbance measurements at short path lengths
- High-concentration sample testing
- DNA, RNA, and protein assays
- Environmental and chemical analysis
- Routine lab and instrument calibration work
Key Features
- 1 mm path length — excellent for high concentration absorbance
- 350 μL volume minimizes sample usage
- Wide 20 × 26 mm clear walls for stable optical alignment
- Airtight PTFE stopper prevents sample loss and contamination
- Quartz material ensures excellent UV/VIS transmission
