Optisch gepolijste zijkanten kunnen worden gereinigd met standaard reinigingsmethoden. Kuvetten en cellen van het gegoten type worden gebouwd door het kwarts tot een hoge temperatuur te verhitten en vervolgens de stukken samen te drukken, terwijl bij gesmolten cuvetten een kwartspoeder op de randen wordt aangebracht voordat ze worden verwarmd. Zowel gevormde als gesmolten cuvetten hebben een verbeterde chemische resistentie. Naast gewone cuvetten van het type &#8220;Fused&#8221; <\/span><span style=\"background-color: var(--color-background); color: var(--color-text); font-family: var(--font-primary);\">(bijv. Oppervlakken die niet worden gebruikt, worden gezwart om lichtverstrooiing in de ultramicro- en semimicro-cuvetten (350 tot 700 en 1050 tot 1400 \u00b5L) te verminderen. Gepolijste zijkanten kunnen worden gereinigd met standaard optische reinigingsmethoden. Deze cuvetten zijn niet geschikt voor fluorescentiespectroscopie omdat ze slechts twee gepolijste vensters hebben, waardoor ze niet kunnen worden gebruikt om de fluorescentie haaks op de bundel te meten. Cuvetten met vier gepolijste zijkanten zijn ook verkrijgbaar bij Qvarz\u00ae.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"background-color: var(--color-background); letter-spacing: 0px; font-family: var(--font-primary); color: var(--color-text);\">Onze cuvetten hebben een vierkante buitendiameter van 12,5 mm, een doorgelaten padlengte van 10 mm door het monster en capaciteiten vari\u00ebrend van 350 microliter tot 3,5 milliliter. Naast gewone cuvetten van het type &#8220;Fused&#8221; <\/span><span style=\"background-color: var(--color-background); color: var(--color-text); font-family: var(--font-primary);\">(bijv. VASF1)<\/span><span style=\"background-color: var(--color-background); color: var(--color-text); font-family: var(--font-primary); letter-spacing: 0px;\">, korte of lange padlengtes (2,5 mm) cuvetten worden aangeboden in een &#8220;gegoten&#8221; type voor verhoogde chemische weerstand (bijv. VASM7). Al deze cuvetten hebben elk een PTFE-schroefdraaddop om vervuiling door stof en andere deeltjes te voorkomen en zijn luchtdicht afgesloten. De doorstraalvensters van deze cuvetten kunnen worden gebruikt voor verschillende spectroscopische toepassingen, ondanks het feit dat ze zijn gebouwd voor fluorescentie. Voor deze andere spectroscopische metingen (zie hierboven) zijn bij Qvarz\u00ae ook cuvetten met twee gepolijste en twee matte zijden verkrijgbaar.<\/p>\n<p>Onze cuvetten hebben een vierkante buitendiameter van 12,5 mm, een doorgelaten padlengte van 10 mm door het monster en capaciteiten vari\u00ebrend van 20 microliter tot 125 milliliter. Naast de gewone &#8220;Fused&#8221; type cuvetten (bijv. VFOFO3), worden korte of lange padlengtes (1, 2, 3, 5, 20, 40, 50 mm) cuvetten aangeboden in een &#8220;Molded&#8221; type voor verhoogde chemische bestendigheid (bijv. .VFOMQ). De doorstraalvensters van deze cuvetten kunnen worden gebruikt voor verschillende spectroscopische toepassingen, ondanks het feit dat ze zijn gebouwd voor fluorescentie. Voor deze andere spectroscopische metingen (zie hierboven) zijn bij Qvarz\u00ae ook cuvetten met twee gepolijste en twee matte zijden verkrijgbaar.<\/p>\n<p>Onze cuvetten hebben een vierkante buitendiameter van 12,5 mm, een doorgelaten padlengte van 10 mm door het monster en capaciteiten vari\u00ebrend van 350 microliter tot 3,5 milliliter. Naast de gewone cuvetten van het type &#8220;Fused&#8221; (bijv. VFPFA), worden cuvetten met korte of lange weglengtes (1, 2 mm) aangeboden in een &#8220;gegoten&#8221; type voor verhoogde chemische weerstand (bijv. De vier gepolijste vensters maken fluorescentiemetingen mogelijk loodrecht op het stralingspad. Standaard optische reinigingsprocedures kunnen worden gebruikt om de cuvetten te reinigen. De doorstraalvensters van deze cuvetten kunnen worden gebruikt voor verschillende spectroscopische toepassingen, ondanks het feit dat ze zijn gebouwd voor fluorescentie. Voor deze andere spectroscopische metingen (zie hierboven) zijn bij Qvarz\u00ae ook cuvetten met twee gepolijste en twee matte zijden verkrijgbaar.<\/p>\n<p>Onze cuvetten hebben een vierkante buitendiameter van 12,5 mm, een doorgelaten padlengte van 10 mm door het monster en capaciteiten vari\u00ebrend van 700 microliter tot 3,5 milliliter. Naast de gewone &#8220;Fused&#8221; type cuvetten (bijv. VFSF2), worden cuvetten met korte of lange weglengtes (2, 5, 32 mm) aangeboden in een &#8220;gegoten&#8221; type voor verhoogde chemische weerstand (bijv. VFSM41). Al deze cuvetten worden geleverd met een PTFE-schroefdop om verontreiniging door stof en andere deeltjes te voorkomen en zijn luchtdicht afgesloten. Een ander ding om in gedachten te houden is dat de optische weglengtes van individuele wegwerpcuvetten, die gewoonlijk na gebruik worden weggegooid, enigszins vari\u00ebren. Dit kan resulteren in kwantitatieve waardefouten.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: var(--font-primary); letter-spacing: 0px; background-color: var(--color-background); color: var(--color-text);\">Glazen kuvetten hebben een meetbereik van ongeveer 320 nm tot 2500 nm, wat smaller is dan kwartscuvetten omdat glas in het ultraviolet ondoorzichtig is. Ze zijn echter een praktisch en goedkoper alternatief voor kwartscellen, op voorwaarde dat er geen metingen nodig zijn in het ultraviolette golflengtegebied onder ongeveer 320 nm. Deze cuvetten worden vaak aangeduid met &#8220;G&#8221;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: var(--font-primary); letter-spacing: 0px; background-color: var(--color-background); color: var(--color-text);\">Wanneer cuvetten van glas of kwarts worden gebruikt, wordt een reeks metingen uitgevoerd om variaties in optische weglengtes van cel tot cel te verwijderen. Wegwerpcellen zijn gemaakt van plastic en kunnen na gebruik worden weggegooid. In tegenstelling tot de hierboven genoemde glas- en kwartscellen, wordt elk monster in een aparte wegwerpcel geplaatst. Omdat verschillen in optische padlengte vaak voorkomen van cel tot cel, is het verkrijgen van de juiste gegevens een uitdaging. Wanneer grote meetnauwkeurigheid niet nodig is, worden wegwerpcellen gebruikt. Ze zijn handig voor het meten van biologische monsters waarbij het moeilijk is om het materiaal uit de cel te wassen. Wegwerpcellen zijn niet in staat monsters te meten die plastic vernietigen, zoals organische oplosmiddelen, omdat ze van plastic zijn gemaakt. Het verdunnen van een monster kan bijvoorbeeld resulteren in een verandering in absorptie vanwege de interactie met het oplosmiddel (dwz een verschuiving in de piekgolflengten).<\/p>\n<p>Wanneer de absorptie hoog is en verdunning moeilijk is, kan een cuvet met een korte weglengte worden gebruikt om de absorptie te meten. Kuvetten met korte padlengte zijn verkrijgbaar in optische padlengtes van 0,2 mm, 0,5 mm, 1 mm, 2 mm, 3 mm en 5 mm. Hoewel 10 mm-cellen kunnen worden gebruikt bij het concentreren van de monsters, kan concentratie moeilijk zijn als het materiaal verdampt of een chemische verandering ondergaat tijdens het concentratieproces. In dergelijke gevallen is het effectiever om een &#8220;kuvet met lange padlengte&#8221; te gebruiken voor het meten. Kuvetten met lange padlengte zijn verkrijgbaar in optische padlengtes van 20 mm, 30 mm, 40 mm, 50 mm en 100 mm. De absorptie stijgt recht evenredig met de optische weglengte van de cel. De resultaten van het testen van een 10 mg\/L kaliumpermanganaatoplossing met een cel met een weglengte van 10 mm en een cel met een weglengte van 100 mm worden weergegeven in de afbeelding rechts. De absorptie van de cel van 100 mm is tien keer die van de cel van 10 mm, zoals kan worden waargenomen.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: var(--font-primary); letter-spacing: 0px; background-color: var(--color-background); color: var(--color-text);\">Het meten van watertroebelheid is een bekende toepassing van analyse waarbij gebruik wordt gemaakt van cuvetten met een lange weglengte. In feite is er geen specifieke pluche reinigingsmethode. En waarom?<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: var(--font-primary); letter-spacing: 0px; background-color: var(--color-background); color: var(--color-text);\">De reden hiervoor is te wijten aan het brede scala aan monsters die worden ge\u00ebvalueerd. Vanwege de grote verscheidenheid aan analysemonsters is een groot aantal reinigingsprocedures nodig. Omdat het echter niet realistisch is om alle manieren uit te werken, draagt het niet bij aan de oplossing van het probleem. Daarom hebben we hieronder een aantal van de meest voorkomende reinigingsprocedures opgenomen. Deze technieken kunnen worden onderverdeeld in een aantal categorie\u00ebn. De eerste groep gebruikt water als oplosmiddel, terwijl de tweede een organisch oplosmiddel gebruikt.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: var(--font-primary); letter-spacing: 0px; background-color: var(--color-background); color: var(--color-text);\">1) Water als oplosmiddel gebruiken &#8211; Eerst reinigen met gezuiverd water, daarna met ethanol en daarna drogen. Week cellen in een commerci\u00eble reinigingsoplossing die speciaal is ontwikkeld voor het reinigen van cellen (gedurende ongeveer 10 minuten bij 30 tot 50 \u00b0C) voor ernstigere verontreiniging. Spoel de cel daarna af met gedestilleerd water en dompel deze onder in een verdunde oplossing van salpeterzuur en waterstofperoxide (gedurende ongeveer 30 minuten). Spoel tot slot de cel met gedestilleerd water en plaats deze in een luchtdichte container.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: var(--font-primary); letter-spacing: 0px; background-color: var(--color-background); color: var(--color-text);\">2) Reiniging met organische oplosmiddelen (alleen gesmolten of gegoten typen) &#8211; Reinig met ethanol of aceton na reiniging met het organische oplosmiddel en reinig vervolgens met dezelfde benadering als hierboven vermeld voor de waterige oplossing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: var(--font-primary); letter-spacing: 0px; background-color: var(--color-background); color: var(--color-text);\">3) Schrob de cel zachtjes met een wattenstaafje als de vervuiling hardnekkig is.
